I have studied Mayan culture and mythology since childhood, and this trio of combinations of glyphs, is an imprint of a museum replica of the "tablet of the foliated sun", a wall relief depicting an offering scene, in Palenque, Mexico. I created this piece in fine silver with sterling silver chain, and the whole piece is oxidized to bring out the detail.
