This is a bracelet made from a museum replica of an ancient cylinder seal. Pictured also is a ring, listed and sold separately, featuring an imprint of a Philistine cylinder seal. The additional picture is of an ancient seal, so you can see an example of what I use.
A cylinder seal is an ancient rolling stamp most often used in ancient times to document a trade. The seal was usually made from carved stone and worn on a leather cord. It would be rolled into wet clay and fired to make the imprint permanent, like a receipt.
The original seal was found in Israel, and depicts a tribe of people called Elamites invading Babylon on a horse and chariot. I have a complete history card that I include with each purchase.
This is a hefty weight sterling silver bracelet that fits a standard wrist size of 7.5" to 8".
