Chalcedony is a beautiful gemstone that comes in a variety of colors. The word is derived from an ancient Turkish seaport called Khalcedon, (or something close to that!) and is known as a ‘speakers stone,’ as it was reputed to help in choosing words wisely, and to have a calming effect.
The stud earrings are available in two hues, the sea-foam aqua and the deeper cornflower blue. Both have a watery glow to them, especially when the light hits them.
They are smaller than a dime, but not by much. The crown like bezel setting is sterling silver, nickel free.
