Philistine Cylinder Seal Ring
The Philistines were a sea-faring people referred to in the Bible, known for their many conquests.
They came from an unknown region, wearing feathered headdresses and settled in the land of Canaan. Eventually they were dominated by Ramses III, around 1175 B.C. Their primary symbol was a bird, as depicted on this ancient seal.
This sterling silver ring is made from an imprint of a museum replica of the original artifact. I taper the band in the back for a comfortable fit. Available in sizes 5-8. I suggest ordering a 1/2 size up due the width of the band.
Oxidized sterling silver.
